CLUBS RESTART

Happy New Year from everyone at the Pilmeny Youth Centre. The following clubs are due to resume following the Christmas holiday: PYC Mini Club and Mini Sports Club will resume Tuesday 10th January and Wednesday 11th January respectively. Pilmeny Playgroup will also resume Tuesday 10th January. In addition, Redpath Albuon/Pilmeny Soccer 7s will resume Friday 13th January.

PYC playgroup is generally very busy on both days and we advise that parents who may want to join should first contact the centre office or email to enquire about available space.

Pilmeny Leith Outdoor Spaces Project

Pilmeny Leith Outdoor Spaces Project, was established in January 2008 to provide a young persons drop-in facility aimed at dealing with difficult to reach teenagers and experiencing social exclusion aged 13 - 16years The project has been very successful with local agencies linking to provide staff and funds to promote the drop-in.

Pilmeny Development Project - YMCA Acorn Centre - Leith Police NA Unit Team have all linked to provide staff input, much of it unpaid voluntary work.

The next phase of funding for 2010-2012 has been provided by Community CashBack Fund.
